Established in 2022 by Mr. Deepak Lole, DeepNanda Heritage Resort was born from a desire to give the Kolhapur district a sanctuary worthy of its rich history. Located at Gat No 233 on the Shiradwad-Manakapur Road, the property was chosen for its spiritual proximity to the Panchganga River. It is not just a resort; it is a family's promise to the land.
The founders envisioned a place that balanced the industrial hustle of Ichalkaranji (just 4.1KM away) with the timeless silence of nature. It took years of planning to ensure the resort complemented the riverbank ecosystem rather than disrupting it.
Chapter 2: Architecture of the Soil
The resort's design is deeply rooted in the 'Wada' culture of Maharashtra. The cottages, spread across lush green acres, feature traditional sloping roofs and laterite stone finishes. This is not accidental; it is climate-responsive architecture designed to stay cool during the Vidarbha summers and warm during the winters.
Every structure respects the existing flora. 14 massive Neem trees and an 80-year-old Banyan tree were preserved during construction. The buildings curve around them, acknowledging that nature was here first.
